I graduated from North Central College with a degree in Small Business Management. My entrepreneurial spirit guided me there, but my passion for design has drawn me to where I am now. I wanted to gain an understanding of business operations, but still create without limits. 

 

I’ve held various jobs in an array of industries. This flexibility and open mindedness presented me with opportunities to be involved in different facets of these businesses, and I learned everything I could along the way. With that, I've gained successful experience in marketing, client service, and project management.

Graphic design became a way for me to become creatively involved in these different businesses. Although I am not classically trained in graphic design, I know good design. I can feel it. And I've dedicated the time to study the different tools needed to create good design. I'm proud to always be learning.

I would describe my design aesthetic as clean, modern, and balanced (in everything I create). My designs focus on communicating a message clearly and complementing it with beautiful imagery, color, and typography. My goal is to connect with the consumer through empathy to evoke a deeper thought or emotion in all my designs.

On the weekends, my creativity manifests itself by way of cake design, photography, floristry, or hand lettering. I find such peace in these hobbies, and appreciate the opportunity to exercise my talent.

 

I enjoy spending time with my husband Daniel and our dogs Nora and Ford, listening to music, and traveling as far as the open road will take me. Sometimes, you can catch me at a road race or looking up at the stars.
